This is the most classical panoramic tour through the highlights of Saint Mark’s square and the history of Venice, which for centuries ruled a vast empire. This enchanting tour, which will initiate you to wonder of the marvellous Serenissima, the so called most serene republic which lasts for around seven hundreds years, includes the visit of the old Venice’s head quarter, which was the Palace of the Doge, the Republic’s designated representative, and an attentive glance at its heart which was the Byzantine style basilica where beyond than the Patron of the city’s relics, an incredible treasure has always been kept in custody.
Along with the visit of the Doges’ Palace, seat then of the politic and administrative powers and of the main courts, we will cross the famous bridge of sights which leads to the ancient frightful Prisons, and along with the introduction to the Saint Mark’s cathedral we will admire the richness and the exceptional beauty of decorations in rare marbles and precious mosaics, which narrate the origins of the city, its charm and its mystery.

It was once the residence of the Doge, the elected ruler of the city. Don’t miss this half day cruise to the most famous Venetian islands, known throughout the world for their picturesque scenery, handicraft and history! Departure from near Saint Mark’s square: after an enjoyable trip across Saint Mark’s basin, towards the lido and then back along the north coastline of the city, we first stop in Murano, the island of the glass, to visit an artistic glass factory and see the glass manufactured and blown. The ride goes on to the next stop Burano, admiring, on the way to, the natural environment and the minor islands spread all around and pointed out by our tour leader explaining at the microphone Free time in Burano, the typical fishing island with its light and coloured contrasts, its chocolate box painted houses and renowned for the ancient art of the lace making and embroidery and for the fresh home made characteristic cakes you shouldn’t miss to try. Torcello, the most ancient inhabited island will be our last stop. The visit of the Byzantine cathedral is highly recommended for the appeal of its remote past and its magnificent mosaics representing the last judgement.

To see Venice at 7.30am is to see it as its most charming. Free of tourists and crowded streets, the city is peaceful, beautiful and serene. With our unique jogging tour you can appreciate the real Venice, get some exercise and finish feeling refreshed and ready for a day of sight seeing. The route is about 5kms long and will give you the opportunity to see a great deal of Venice in a short space of time. Meet our knowledgeable running guide at 7.30am in St Mark's Square (between the 2 columns). The Piazza will be calm and empty – this in itself is an unmissable experience. Accompanied by our running guide there will be a few minutes of stretching to warm up, followed by an invigorating run along the front of the lagoon so as to take advantage of the stunning, panoramic view. The route will take you past the picturesque district of “Castello ”, down to “S. Elena” at the end of Venice and then back to the centre, via the “Accademia bridge” and the breathtaking “Zattere”, from where you can look across to the island of Giudecca. The run will last between 45 minutes to an hour and there will be time for a coffee or a fresh orange juice in St Mark's before saying goodbye to your running companions.

After lunch we journey on to admire the Auronzo lake and on the way back to Venice, time permitting, we make a last stop at Longarone to taste a delicious homemade ice-cream and see the view of the Vajont valley. VENEZIA (VENEZIA) Regular tours VERONA AND AMARONE
Discover the magic of the wonderful city of Verona and the regions of Amarone and Valpolicella. We arrive in the centre of Verona at Piazza Bra where the world famous 1st Century outdoor arena is located (third largest in Italy) it has over 22,000 seats and is the perfect place for outdoor operas and concerts. Tou will have approximately two and half hours of free time to visit the house of Juliet (as in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet), the historical Piazza delle Erbe and some of the exclusive shops around the city. After Verona, we will head on over to the medieval towns of the Valpolicella region, time for an optional lunch and a chance to visit the 13th Century church of San Giorgio with its splendid altar dating back to 712a.d. Where there are some of the most beautiful, panoramic views of Sirmione and Lake Garda.
From here we drive to a vineyard to have a guided visit and learn more about the famous “Amarone” wine. We will enjoy tasting some of the different wines they produce and have a chance to purchase a few bottles to take with you, such as Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella. Then just sit back and enjoy the views as we return to Venice.

Along this journey around the countryside, we first visit the walled town of Marostica with its castle , famous for the, in costume performed, game of chess played on a giant chessboard in the main square. Then we go to the peaceful town of Bassano Del Grappa. We cross the famous Palladian wood bridge to go for a visit and a Grappa tasting to the famous Grappa distillery which production is synonymous of the town itself.
Our last stop is in Asolo the so called pearl of the Veneto, which has inspired many poets, situated among the cypress covered foothills of the Dolomites Asolo is famous also for the castle of Caterina Cornaro,

The Lison Pramaggiore DOC wine area is set in the most eastern part of the Veneto. Vines have been grown for at least 3,000 years and even back to prehistoric times and is know by the Venetians as the Wine road of the Doges.
Within a short distance from Venice we reach this rich, agricultural area and visit one of the local vineyards, to see how they are producing the superlative wines today, and enjoy a variety of tastes from wines such as Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon to name but a few.
Together with the wine tasting we enjoy home-made appetisers from this family run “cantina” and of course there is the opportunity to stock up on a few bottles of “vino”.

Crossing the countryside of the Veneto Orientale we reach the Veneto vineyards first. Then going on to the nearby Friuli region we head for the hills of Cividale where we stop for the visit of the vineyard of a top wine maker. Her we have wine tasting of great whites and full-bodied reds such as Cabernet, Merlot, Refosco and Tocai friulano. Lunch takes place in a small Trattoria near the border to Slovenia with home made specialities, Schioppettino wine and of course Grappa. After lunch we make our way to the picturesque medieval town of Cividale del Friuli, founded by Julius Caesar in 50 b.C., we cross the Devils bridge with its spectacular views over the river Natisone and enjoy a short walk around the historical centre before going back to Venice.
