Our history

Giampietro Serafini started his career in the travel industry in Italy in 1957, working for Travel Agencies and Tour Operators. In 1977 he established his own travel agency, Kele & Teo, in the very heart of Venice. The agency  specialized in incentive and conference tourism, but was also active in the field of traditional tourism.
Kele & Teo soon became the preferred agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in 1978 it was called in to organize a meeting of great significance, "the Annual Meeting of the Society of Pediatrics", an event attended by over 3 thousand participants, an unprecedented number  for Venice. In 1987 Kele & Teo was commissioned to provide the organization of all services for the G7 Summit on the occasion of the meeting held in Venice. For three years, the travel agency also operated a branch office within the U.S. military base in Vicenza. Kele & Teo was the first travel agency in the Venice area to open their own Meeting Point booth at the Venice Marco Polo airport for customer assistance to arriving and departing clients.  Throughout the 1990s, the agency grew as an international level Tour Operator, offering extensive travel programs specialized in the Americas and the Far East.
Since then, the sustained number of achievements and ongoing successes by Kele & Teo have consolidated the standing of this trade name in the specialty services of incoming and outbound tourism and conference organization in Venice and the Veneto. Our history is written in more than 40 years of extraordinarily successful events, referrals, recommendations, and rehires for services and activities dedicated to an international private and public clientele.

The organization

Today, the Kele & Teo travel agency is still our core business, a one-stop  portal for professional excellence in  the organization of services covering all areas of tourism and events organization.
Kele & Teo is in Venice with a travel office open to the public, in Tessera at Venice Marco Polo airport with its own Meeting Point booth for assistance to clients on arrival and departure, and corporate offices in Mestre, housing the company’s headquarters and the human resources and research and development divisions.
The agency has been operating in the field of Incoming Tourism for Italy, specializing in inbound tourism services for Venice, with an outbound tourism department, and a MICE division.

• P.C.O. and D.M.C. certified for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE);
• Ticketing service for all modes of transport: rail tickets, boat and ferry tickets, coach and bus tickets, road transport; travel   insurance. Air tickets with direct link to the major airlines for a streamlined reservation channel , flight upgrades and  corporate fares.
